From our early breakthroughs in semi-intensive HDPE liner farming to our current leadership in indoor Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), LSO has remained at the forefront of the industry.

Our pioneering introduction of L. Vannamei into key Asian markets underscores our commitment to advancing sustainable seafood production. Today, LSO has partnered with Hewlett Packard in leveraging cutting-edge RAS and IoT technologies to design one if SE Asia’s largest covered aquaculture farm, further solidifying our position as a global leader in innovative and sustainable seafood solutions.

A Memorable Start

History goes back to 1978 when Mr. Lim’s father set up the world’s largest Tiger Prawn hatchery in Malaysia by the 1980s.

1987 - 2007

Milestone Development

Developed and operated the US$2 billion world’s largest integrated shrimp farm under PT Dipasena Citra Darmaja from 1987 to 2007.
