Minister of Export Development and International Trade Professor G.L. A freshwater species, the Pangasius is now being eyed by both the Department of Agriculture and private sector as one of the fastest growing aquaculture subsectors given the increasing demand in prime markets, headed by Russia, Poland, Spain and the US.

Papua New Guinea on Total Integrated Shrimp farming
We had a meeting with the PM Sir Michael Somare of Papua New Guinea on Total Integrated Shrimp farming project to eradicate poverty in his country on 15 Dec 2007 in Singapore, he gave his approval to this project and we are appointed to do official studies to this project".

24 Aug 2007 Visited Kingcar's Aquatic High-Tech Shrimp farm located in I-LAN Taiwan. Had some discussion with the General Manager of the farm Mr. Lee.
