10 Sep 2008 - Indonesia national business newspaper reported on Lim Shrimp Organization (together with its local partners Omnico Private Limited and Baramuli Group) intention to invest in the 100,000ha shrimp revitalization program in accordance to the South Sulawesi Provincial program. This program will greatly benefit the local farmers. The total amount of investment would be US$50 million for the initial phase. The said investment would include a state of the art hatchery and brood stock center, feed mill, processing plant, and cold storage. Djames Lim CEO of Lim Shrimp Organization mentioned that South Sulawesi has a better potential then Lampung to create the world's leading exporting model.
